Sony RX0 II arrives in the Philippines, priced at PHP 35,990!

Sony just made the RX0 II available in the Philippines, the company's latest ultra-compact camera.

To make sure that it is built for any situation, the Sony RX0 II features a waterproof up to 10 meters, dustproof, shockproof up to 2 meters, and crushproof up to 200kg force body.

It also sports a 15.3MP Exmor RS CMOS image sensor,  ZEISS Tessar T* 24mm f/4.0 fixed wide-angle lens with a minimum focusing distance of 20cm, BIONZ X image processing engine and an ISO range of ISO 80 to 12800, and up to 4K video recording with improved stabilization/full pixel readout and no pixel binning.

It even has in-body electronic stabilization for steady footage even for handheld shots

Sony RX0 II also boasts of an anti-distortion shutter of up to 1/32000 secs and can shoot at up to 16fps. The popular Sony's Eye AF that shoots great portraits has been upgraded in the RX0 II.

It also has the Super Slow Motion feature that can record up to 1000fps, uncompressed 4K HDMI output. 

Sony RX0 II also highlights a tilting LCD up to 180 degrees up and 90 degrees down.

On the software side, Sony introduced Sony Imaging Edge to make photos and videos easily transferred to a smartphone. Up to 5 RX0 II cameras can also be controlled wirelessly with app for multi-camera setup.

At just 132 grams, this camera is also said to be the world's smallest and lightest camera.

According to the PR of Sony Philippines, the Sony RX0 II is now in stores for PHP 35,990.
