5 best things about the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom

1. Design - The new Reno 10x Zoom is stunning with unique and innovative elements that aren't found in most smartphones of today.

The first is the unique matte-like finish of the rear glass panel that is actually smudge and fingerprint resistant.

Next up is the shark fin-like pop-up design that houses the earpiece, selfie camera and the rear facing LED flash. Unlike the Find X, only a small part of the top is moving so structural integrity should be better. The "fin" is protected by a fall detection safety measure that automatically folds the fin inward when the phone detects that it is falling.

Thanks to the pop-up design, the Reno 10x Zoom is able to achieve a full screen experience with minimal bezels on all sides.

It comes with ultra-impressive 93.1 percent of screen-to-body ratio with minimal bezels.

At the bottom of the rear triple camera set up is the O-Dot that works to prevent the camera lenses from hitting the surface where the phone is lying its back on.

2. Flagship Specs - You are getting the latest and greatest with the Snapdragon 855 AIE octa-core processor and Adreno 640 with 8GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB storage. This means the Reno 10x Zoom can handle any game or any workload and with 8GB of RAM, it can handle a staggering amount of apps in the background.

3. Battery and VOOC 3.0 - Inside the Reno 10x Zoom is a 4,065mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 Flash charge that is charged via USB Type-C. Aside from having a large capacity battery that will last all day, OPPO says that charging this battery will around an hour.

4. Cameras - At the back is a triple camera set up of a 48MP f/1.7 main shooter with OIS and EIS, a 13MP f/3.0 periscope 10x lossless telephoto camera, and a 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra wide-angle lens while in front is a 16MP f/2.0 front facing camera that is hidden in the shark fin pop-up mechanism. Having an ultra wide camera, standard camera and a 10X optical telephoto camera that can zoom up to 60x makes the Reno 10x Zoom one of the most versatile cameras on a smartphone for 2019.

5. Price - It will cost you PHP 45,990 if you want to purchase the Reno 10x Zoom which is not a bad deal when you compare it to the other flagships like the Huawei P30 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S10+.

We had hope for around PHP 40K if it wanted to disrupt the segment, but it is worth it because of the large base capacity of 256GB UFS 2.1 storage along with a one of a kind design and interesting cameras.
