Cherry Mobile announces Flare HD 5.0 with 6.08-inch HD+ teardrop screen
Cherry Mobile just launched its 5th generation Flare HD phone. Compared with its predecessors, the new phones comes with a large screen-to-body ratio for a budget phone.

The ultra-budget phone with tiny notch
Cherry Mobile Flare HD 5.0 uses a 2.5D curved 6.08-inch display with 1280 x 600 resolution at around 277 ppi. Likely, it is a tall 19:9 screen aspect ratio panel as well.
Cherry Mobile also revealed that it features a 3,000mAh battery and the lightweight Android Oreo (Go edition) OS.
Price and availability
Flare 5.0 will be available soon at all Cherry Mobile outlets nationwide for PHP 3,299.
The rest of the missing specs and details are unknown for now. But since it has a low price tag, do not expect it to carry strong specs.
There's a good chance that it'll go with 1GB RAM only since it is an Android (Go edition) device.
