A super budget phone based on its specs

Cherry Mobile Flare S8 is a phone with great looks and specs for PHP 3,999. It highlights 2.5D curved back glasstic design with a gradient colorway. Unlike most phones with small screens at this price point, Flare S8 uses a large 6.26-inch HD+ display with a tiny teardrop notch.

It also goes with a 16nm 2.3GHz 64-bit Helio P23 octa-core processor, Mali-G71 MP2 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage, 2,800mAh battery, 13MP + 2MP f/2.4 w/ LED flash dual-cam, and 13MP selfie cam.

It also has face unlock, fingerprint scanner at the back, 4G LTE, and dual SIM slots.

On paper, it is the most attractive for the price yet.

Cherry Mobile Flare S8 Pro

Flare S8 Pro with a massive 6.5-inch screen

Cherry Mobile Flare S8 Pro is arguably the bang per buckest of the bunch. Why? It is the only phone with such specs at PHP 5,999.

First off, it also has a glasstic gradient back design with curvier curves than the vanilla Flare S8. It also has an extra-large 6.5-inch 2.5D curved IPS screen w/ HD+ 1520 x 720 resolution at 259 ppi.

Inside, it runs with the AI-ready 2.0GHz 64-bit Helio P22 octa-core processor with PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

It is also paired with a large 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, and 4,000mAh battery with USB-C charging.

The cameras look good as well. It uses a 20MP + 5MP w/ LED flash dual-cam, 20MP selfie cam, face unlock, rear fingerprint reader, 4G LTE, and dual SIM slots.

All-screen, almost no bezels

Cherry Mobile Flare S8 Plus is the flagship phone of the company this year. It goes with the most impressive-looking design and overall specs among the three.

For its PHP 12,999 price tag, it is also the most affordable with a true all-screen display and a pop-up camera system. 

Dual pop-up cam

In particular, you will find a glasstic gradient curved back body with a 6.26-inch notchless FHD+ 19:5:9 display with dual-pop-up cam in front.

The pop-up cam consists of a 16MP + 5MP dual-camera combo.

Iside the phone is powered by the speedy 2.1GHz 64-bit Helio P70 octa-core processor and Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.

It also has a large 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The battery capacity is rated at 3,250.

Flare S8, S8 Pro, and S8 Plus are priced at PHP 3,999, 5,999, and 12,900, respectively. The three phones will be available starting in late August 2019.
