Vivo to release Funtouch OS 9.1 on September 17

Vivo has just revealed that it will release the newest version of its Android skin on September 17, the Funtouch OS 9.1.

A better than ever skin

In its teaser, the company said that Funtouch OS 9.1 is "not extreme, not over-decorated, and never simple".

Previously, Vivo's Funtouch OS 9 has 72 new features, 55 interactive optimizations, and 263 UI improvements. It has added a new brand color, interest screen clock, Multi-Turbo, and other functions as well.

But, details are scarce regarding this new smartphone skin for now. Most likely, we will see a lot of improvements to make it better than ever and it will be based on the new Android 10 operating system.

There's also a chance that we will see this skin on the NEX3, the company's upcoming NEX 3 5G flagship smartphone.
