The Cherry Mobile Flare S8 Lite is a promising entry-level device feature a 3D curved back and a 19:9 TrueView teardrop 5.7-inch IPS screen with HD+ resolution.

Wild specs for the price

Inside, it is powered by the 16nm 64-bit Helio P23 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz paired with Mali-G72 MP2 GPU.

It is coupled with 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage via dedicated microSD, and 2,500mAh battery capacity.

For the cameras, it uses an 8MP f/2.2 OV8865 primary cam with AF + a 2MP SP0A08 secondary depth sensor with an LED flash. For selfies, it uses a 5MP GC5035 sensor.

The phone also has WiFi b/g/n, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, OTG, and dual SIM slots.

Cherry Mobile Flare S8 Lite is now available in Cherry Mobile stores and partner retailers for PHP 3,299.

At PHP 3,299, it is the most affordable smartphone in the Philippines with the pretty fast 16nm Helio P23 SoC.
