Xiaomi releases Mi Watch with Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor, 4G in China

On schedule, Xiaomi announced the company's first smartwatch in the Mi Ecosystem China, the Mi Watch.

It highlights a 1.78-inch touchscreen with over 100 watch faces, Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, and 570mAh battery with up to 36 hours of battery life on 4G.

Yes, you read that right, it has 4G. It has an eSIM with 4G VoLTE calling support for major operators in China like China Telecom and China Unicom.

Of course, it has Sports, Activity, and Sleep tracking features as well. It can automatically track 10 sports activities and comes with European professional sports algorithm FIRSTBEAT and 02 Max.

The watch runs with Wear OS with MIUI for Watch on top. It has over 40 apps to choose from as well.

The standard Xiaomi Mi Watch in Silver and Elegant Black colorways with rubber strap is priced at CNY 1,299 (around PHP 9.3K). On the other hand, the Premium Edition in Black with stainless steel strap retails for CNY 1,999 (around PHP 14.4K).

It will go on sale in China in mid-December.

There's no word yet if it will go official in PH.
