Samsung sells over 1M Galaxy Folds worldwide!

Samsung Electronic's President Young Sohn says that the company has sold over a million Galaxy Fold at TechCrunch Disrupt in Berlin.

1 Million Samsung Galaxy Folds sold!

Released in November in the Philippines, the Samsung Galaxy Fold was only available locally via Globe and Smart's postpaid plans. The device features an innovative folding Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex display. 

Inside is a Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor, Adreno 640 GPU, 12GB RAM, 512GB UFS 3.0 and a large 4,380mAh battery. It charges via USB-C using Samsung's Adaptive fast charger. Under the hood is OneUI based on Android 9.0.

Locally, the smartphone is priced at PHP 109,990. Internationally, it is priced at USD 1980. This top tier pricing did not stop a Million customers from purchasing it though, as revealed by Samsung Electronic's President Young Sohn.

And I think that the point is, we're selling (a) million of these products, Sohn said. There are a million people that want to use this product at USD 2,000.
