Feb 4 is the launch date of the new Samsung Galaxy A series in PH

Samsung Philippines has just sent out invites for the Philippine launch of the new Galaxy A series phones on February 4 to the local press.

The Galaxy A71

Feb 4 is it!

Based on earlier teasers posted on Samsung's local website and social media sites, one of them is the Galaxy A71 which will be available to pre-order soon.

It is an upper mid-range device equipped with a 20:9 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display highlighting a punch-hole cutout ala flagship Galaxy Note10, Snapdragon 730G chip, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, 4,500mAh battery w/ USB-C 25W fast charge, 64MP + 12MP + 5MP + 5MP quad-cam, 32MP selfie cam, 4G LTE, dual SIM slots, and Android 10 OS with One UI 2.0 skin.

The Galaxy A71 has a listed price tag of PHP 23,990 at CMK. It is PHP 1K higher than the SRP of the A70 last year.

But apart from the Galaxy A71, our friends from Revü notified us that the Galaxy A51 has appeared on the support page of Samsung's local site.

The Galaxy A51 is expected to the cheapest phone with a punch-hole in the middle. It also has a 6.5-inch display with a 20:9 screen aspect ratio and FHD+ resolution, but the overall specs are lower than the A71.
