Realme Band now official with colored display, heart rate monitor

Realme announced its first offering in the smart band category with the realme band. It has features for both workout and daily life usage.

There are 5 dial faces out of the box

The realme Band has 0.96-inch large color display with support for more than 65,000 colors. It has three colorful bands available with 5 Stylish Dial Faces ready at launch. Realme promises to provide more dial faces via software updates over time.

9 sports mode

It has 9 sports mode for yoga, running, walking, fitness, cricket, hiking, spinning, climbing, and biking. It also touts to have one of the more accurate real-time heart rate monitors with a PPG sensor and customized algorithm.

It also IP68 certified for water-resistance and dust protection. During the day, the realme Band can act like your personal assistant that measures your heart rate, reminds you to move every once in a while if you are idle for too long, or reminds you to drink some water.

Wellness reminders

Smart notifications are also present. It supports notifications for calls including the option to reject, SMS, and even apps such as Facebook and WhatsApp. You don't have to worry about losing a separate charger for your realme Band as well.

It has a USB Direct Charge design wherein the band itself has a USB connector built-in ready to be plugged into a wall charger, laptop, or power bank. It has fast charging and up to 10 days of standby time with heart-rate monitor active.

Real-time heart rate monitor

Realme also announced a new companion app for the Band and its other IoT devices. It is named the realme Link.

When used with the realme Band, the app will provide you with a summary of your personal health profile and syncs all your Band data to your phone. In the future, it will support realme basic earphones, TWS earbuds, smartwatches, smart screens, smart speakers, soundbar, and other smart home appliances.

Price and availability

No extra charging device

The realme band is priced at INR 1,499 (around PHP 1K) in India. It is now currently already available for purchase in India.
