Interestingly, it is not solar-powered as its name suggests. Fortunately, this smartwatch is loaded with features for the price.

Priced at CNY 150 (around PHP 1K), the Haylou Solar features a 44mm metal body with IP68 water and dust resistance and 22mm wide straps.
In front, it uses a 1.28-inch circular and colored LCD panel with a crisp 240 x 240 resolution. GizmoChina reported that this screen should be bright enough for the content to remain visible even under direct sunlight hit.
The watch can be connected via Bluetooth 5.0 and it supports Android 4.4 and iOS 8.0 and onwards devices.
It comes with a 340mAh battery which can last up to 30 days on a single charge according to the company.
The device also has a 24-hour heart-rate monitor feature for 12 physical activities like cycling, running, and rowing.
The watch also comes with sleep tracker, pedometer, calorie counter, sedentary reminder, stopwatch, phone finder, music playback, weather alert, breathing training, and support for app notification alerts.
The Haylou Solar will start shipping on May 18. However, there's no word about its global availability yet.
Let's wish that Xiaomi will decide to bring it here.
