AnTuTu's list of Top-performing SoCs based on AI performance |
AI has become a large part of the smartphone over the years. As such, even AnTuTu now places emphasis on AI benchmark performance. Today, AnTuTu released its top 10 best performing Android processors based on AI performance for April 2020.
At the top of the list is the Snapdragon 865 5G SoC with a total score of 459,193. The second place goes to Exynos 990 with a score of 4392,95.
In third place is the Snapdragon 765/765G. Number four and five are the Snapdragon 855 Plus and 855 respectively. At seventh place is the Snapdragon 730/730G. This means that 5 out of the top 10 are from the Snapdragon platform.
The MediaTek Helio P90 takes the sixth place beating Exynos 9825, Dimensity 1000L, and the Kirin 990 5G. This is a big surprise given that Huawei has been proud of the Kirin's AI prowess with its robust Triple NPU (2x Big-Core + Tiny-Core) NPU setup.
AnTuTu AI's results are totally different from the Switzerland-based AI Benchmark app where the Kirin 990 5G came up on top of everyone else.
