Xiaomi release Mi AirDots 2 SE, an ultra-budget TWS buds
In China, Xiaomi has unveiled the Mi AirDots 2 SE, a more budget-friendly version of the AirDots 2 in China.

It comes with a semi in-ear design that is said to be comfortable to wear and doesn't fall of easily and touch controls for volume and track change. It has an infrared sensor for intelligent wear detection which automatically pauses playback when removed and resumes playback after wearing the buds again.

The Mi AirDots 2 SE comes with a 14.2mm big dynamic drivers that should provide a stronger bass response and soundstage than other buds with smaller speakers.
It also comes with dual microphones, voice control commands, and Bluetooth 5.0 with LDHC/SBC/AAC codecs. The buds come with up to 5 hours of battery life per earbud and up to 20 hours with the case. It charges in 1.5 hours via USB-C.
Each bud weighs 4.7 grams. The case weighs 48 grams.

In China, it is priced at CNY 169 or around PHP 1.2K. It is now available to pre-order and shipments will start on May 19.
