Microsoft Surface Book 3 and Surface Go now official!

Surface Book 3

Microsoft has updated its Surface Book laptops with the new Surface Book 3 that comes in 13.5-inch and 15-inch versions. In front of the 13-inch variant is a 3000 x 2000, 267 ppi 10-point multi-touch PixelSense display with an aspect ratio of 3 by 2. While the 15-inch has a 3240 x 2160, 260 ppi 10 point multi-touch PixelSense Display.

Inside the new laptop is the new 10th-Generation Intel i5/i7 Core processors, up to 32GB RAM, up to 2TB PCIe SSD storage, and up to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q with 6GB GDDR6 GPU. Only the 13.5-inch starts with 8GB RAM that goes all the way up to 32GB RAM.

For ports, the new laptops have 2 USB Type-A 3.1 Gen 2, 1 USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 2 with Power delivery 3.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and 2 Surface Connect ports (on the tablet and on the keyboard).

At the back of the laptop is an 8MP rear-facing camera and in front is a 5MP front-facing camera with Windows Hello Face authentication camera. On the sides are the front-facing stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos that is paired with Dual far-field studio microphones.

Lastly, the new Surface Book 3 supports the Surface Pen, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. Under the hood is Windows 10 Home with Microsoft 365 Family one-month trial.
Microsoft Surface Go

The new Surface Go features a 10.5-inch 10-point multi-touch PixelSense Display with a resolution of 1920 x 1280 with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Inside is the Intel Pentium Gold Processor 4425Y or an 8th Gen Intel Core m3 Processor. 

On top of the display is a front-facing 5.0MP front-facing 1080p Skype HD camera with Windows Hello Face authentication. On the back is the 8.0MP rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video recording capabilities.

It is equipped with Dual Studio Mics and 2W stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The tablet supports WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 and is running on Windows 10 Home in S mode with Microsoft 365 Family one-month trial.

For ports, it features one USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, Surface Connect Port, Surface Type Cover Port and MicroSDXC card reader. 

All of that fits 245 x 175 x 8.3 mm that weighs 544 grams.

All models are now available for pre-order in the United States but there is no word yet when it will arrive in the Philippines nor is there information for local PH pricing.
