Apple unveils new upgrades for its products

During the online Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple announced new innovations and upgrades from macOS Big Sur to its iOS 14, iPadOS, among others. 

For the macOS Big Sur, Apple is boasting Safari now provides even faster performance with new features, while protecting user privacy. Users can customize the new start page with a background image and sections like their Reading List and iCloud Tabs.

Transferring iPad apps to your Mac? Mac Catalyst has now made that easy. Its apps also automatically embrace the new look. 

iPhone users, this news is for you—iOS 14 offers new design upgrades, including the App Library, which organizes all of a user's apps into one simple, easy-to-navigate view.

How about a pinned conversations in Messages? iPhone users would soon enjoy that with the iOS 14. 

Maps would also be equipped with new cycling directions including elevation, how busy a street is, or if there are stairs along the route. 

For iPadOS 14, there would be Scribble with Apple Pencil, which enables users to write in any text field and would then be converted to typed text. 

Users can also start a search from anywhere on the iPad, without leaving the app they are in. 

Let's go for the smartwatches with watchOS 7, the new operating system now detects handwashing to initiate a 20-second countdown timer and introduces sleep tracking. 

With the watchOS 7, Apple Watch wearers can also share watch faces through Messages or Mail. 

Lastly, Apple TV users can now access HomeKit-enables video cameras and accessories by using Siri or Control Center with the tvOS 14.
