Xiaomi is embracing the future of 5G connectivity in the Philippines. It now has a total of five 5G smartphones in the country.

While 5G is not yet widely available in the Philippines, sooner or later, it will reach your area. 5G is easier to deploy and implement than 4G. 5G will operate on the current 4G towers by just adding 5G radios with updated software.

Recently, local telco giant Globe has recently started rolling out its 5G services in select areas of Makati and BGC. On the other hand, Smart will soon make 5G available in Clark, Araneta Center, and more.

If you have a 5G-ready device, it can experience between 10 to 100 times faster speeds than 4G.
