Global OPPO Reno4 Pro now official with SD720G and 65W fast charging

OPPO earlier announced the global version of the Reno4 Pro.

As expected, the device is different from the Chinese and some European models of the device equipped with the 5G-ready 7nm Snapdragon 765G. Instead, the Global Reno4 Pro will feature the weaker 4G-only 2.0GHz 8nm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor with Adreno 618 GPU.

That is quite disappointing as it would have been so much better if OPPO loaded it with the faster and more future-ready chip.

Reno4 Pro design

Going to the positives, the phone's design looks stunning. It is available in a 3D curved glass body in Starry Night and Silky White colorways with a matte finish to prevent fingerprint smudges and glare.

In the front, it uses 6.5-inch E3 Super AMOLED screen with FHD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution, 20:9 screen aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, strong 1,100 nits brightness, 92 percent screen-to-body ratio, In-Display fingerprint scanner, single punch-hole housing the 32MP Sony IMX616 f/2.4 selfie cam. The display of this handset is also certified to stream 1080p content from Netflix.

The device is also paired with New Cooling System with a graphite tube, graphite sheet, and copper foil to dissipate heat better. It also has 8GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB storage, and 4,000mAh battery with the impressive USB-C 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 technology. Basically, the phone can be fully charged in just 36 minutes. It is also safe as it is a TUV certified charger with multi-layer protection.

At the back, it features a 48MP f/1.8 Sony IMX586 main sensor + 8MP ultra-wide-angle + 2MP macro + 2MP mono. It also has the Ultra Night Mode and Ultra Steady Video stabilization for the main and wide cam.

The handset also comes with Dolby Atmos tech. It is just 7.7 mm slim and weighs at just 161 grams.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

OPPO Reno4 Pro 8GB/128GB - INR 34,990 (around PHP 23K)

In India, the 8GB/128GB version is priced at INR 34,990.

There is no word yet if it will be available for the Philippine market.
