TCL Alcatel 3T8 4G premium affordable tablet is coming to the Philippines

TCL's Alcatel mobile brand has told team GIZGUIDE that the 3T8 budget tablet will be available in the Philippines soon.

Dubbed as the "Premium affordable tablet," the Alcatel 3T8 could be a homeschooling buddy that features a sturdy polycarbonate shell in Prime Black and Agate Green and a large enough 8-inch HD IPS screen.

Inside, it uses the 64-bit and 4G-ready 1.3GHz 28nm MediaTek MT8766B quad-core processor with PowerVR GE8300 GPU. Alcatel paired it with 2GB RAM, 32G expandable storage, and 4,080mAh battery with USB-C reversible charging/data port.

For cameras, it comes with a pair of 5MP shooters at the back and front that you can use for taking photos or as a webcam for video calls.

If you don't have 4G in your area, it comes with dual-band WiFi as well. It also has Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, and a single micro SIM card slot. This means that this tablet can be used like a phone that can send SMS, do calls, and access mobile data.

TCL-Alcatel said that the tablet is coming to local retailers by late next week. The tablet is priced at just PHP 5,990.
