2020 has been an interesting year and over the past twelve months, 5G and/or foldable phones have been flooding the premium segment with the most powerful chipsets and cameras while delivering eye-catching design.

Here are our favorites from 2020 with prices going north of PHP 45K!

Inside is the Snapdragon 865, Adreno 650 GPU, 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 and 4,510mAh with 30W Warp Charge 30T, 30W Wireless Charging and 3W reverse wireless charging.

At the back is a 50MP RYYB Ultra Vision Wide main rear camera, 20MP Ultra Wide Cine camera, 12MP 5x Optical Zoom with a Laser sensor and dual-tone LED flash. In front is the 13MP selfie camera and is running on EMUI 11.0.

It comes with Huawei Mobile Services and App Gallery and is priced at only PHP 55,999.

6. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip - Back in February 2020, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Flip and its new ultra-thin glass that allowed it to fold into a clamshell form factor. 

It features a large 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex display with 2636 x 1080 resolution and a secondary 1.1-inch Super AMOLED display with 300 x 112 resolution. Under the hood is the 7nm Snapdragon 855 Plus, Adreno 640 GPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB of storage, 3300mAh battery with 15W Adaptive Fast Charging.

At launch, it was priced at PHP 79,990 but has now dropped to only PHP 55,990.

7. Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G - In our review, we said that Samsung stunned us with the build materials and design of the Note20 Ultra 5G. It is near perfect. 

In front of the Note20 Ultra 5G is the 6.9-inch Gorilla Glass Victus protected Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3088 x 1440 resolution. Inside is the 7nm Exynos 990 octa-core processor, Mali-G77 MP11 GPU, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1, 4,500mAh battery with 45W Adaptive fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
