HONOR signs deals and partnerships with major tech companies

Apart from MediaTek and Qualcomm, Reuters reported that the former Huawei sub-brand has signed deals with AMD, Intel, Micron, Microsoft, Samsung, SK Hynix, and Sony.

HONOR noted that in its post-Huawei life, the company will move into the middle and high-tier markets. The company is also planning to expand its overseas presence and it'll continue to enter the Internet of Things Market.

Analysts noted that the brand is aiming to provide the same quality of people coming from Huawei. It'll be based in Shenzhen and its 8,000 staff members will be moved into a new HQ facility.

To recap, HONOR was included in the China-US trade situation that greatly restricted its parent company Huawei.

But recently, Huawei sold its HONOR brand and it is not subject to the US ban anymore.

This simply means that HONOR is back.
