Xiaomi Philippines: Redmi 9T to launch on January 8!

Xiaomi Philippines today has sent up invites for the Global Launch of the Redmi 9T on January 8, 2021, to the local press.

Redmi Note 9T to launch on January 8!

To watch the launch live, all you need to do is visit the Xiaomi Philippines Facebook Page on the said date at 8 PM.

Not much is known about the Redmi 9T yet, but its launch date is the same as the Redmi Note 9T.

Xiaomi's invite and teaser showed a phone with a notch and a detailed-looking hot air balloon suggesting that it has good cameras. It also has the "Ready, Set, Power Up!" tagline indicating that the Redmi 9T is fast with a big battery capacity.

Leaks suggest that the Redmi 9T is similar to the Redmi Note 9 Power in India with a macro camera.

If true, this device will feature a Redmi logo embossed vertically on its lower left side in Blazing Blue, Electric Green, Fiery Red, and Might Black colorways.

It might also use a 6.53-inch 2.5D curved LCD screen with FHD+ resolution, 11nm Snapdragon 662 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB UFS 2.1 or 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, and 6,000mAh battery with USB-C 18W charging support. 

This handset also features a 48MP f/1.78 shooter with an 8MP f/2.2 118-degree ultra-wide cam, 2MP f/2.4 macro cam, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth cam. In the front, there's an 8MP f/2.0 shooter.

It also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, IR sensor, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio, GPS + GLONASS, dual SIM slots, and runs Android 10 OS with MIUI 12 skin.

There's no word if Mi PH will also launch the Redmi Note 9T.
