Raffy Tulfo's Idol Shopping Network will compete with Shopee and Lazada!

Broadcast journalist Raffy Tulfo will soon introduce his own shopping platform known as Idol Shopping Network or ISN.

A platform with a strict screening for resellers and merchants?

For a long time, Raffy Tulfo became a mediator for personal and professional complaints of the masses. His show even became a big hit that an app developer created a mobile streaming app on Google Play called Tulfix.

This time, Tulfo will launch a local version of Shopee and Lazada in which he promises to welcome complaints about it if there will be in the future. He explains that it is his way of assuring consumers that merchants and resellers will sell quality goods. 

Tulfo said that his idea to build "ISN" came from the complainants who run to him because they cannot get in court. Because of this, he thought of opening a virtual market for small entrepreneurs like vegetable farmers and fruit vendors. As a result, they can be self-reliant and help the economy as well.

Tulfo explained that his e-commerce platform provides opportunities for zero capital. All sellers need to do is to put their goods out there. If the merchandise passes quality control standards, ISN will include them in the platform and deliver the goods to buyers.

Tulfo said during an interview that the network's merchants and resellers are well-screened adding, 

The selection process is long and strict. Sending a photo of the item for sale isn’t enough. We must see the item itself. And it doesn’t matter if the merchants and resellers are few, as long as they’re reliable.

According to Tulfo, customers must sign a contract saying they agree to be included in a video and camera recording while opening the package from the courier. They should also sign a document that says the product is the right one and it is in good condition.

This is to guarantee that they are 100 percent satisfied. If not, customers can refuse to pay for his/her order.

Reportedly, videos and photos of the customers will automatically be uploaded to a system. In addition to this, Tulfo has a long term plan to allot ISN's earnings to subsidize a school.

Idol Shopping Network is expected to officially open this month.
