Meizu launched their flagship lineup in China, the Meizu 18 and 18 Pro both were powered with the Snapdragon 888 processor.

TWO POWERFUL FLAGSHIPS LAUNCHED

The Pro version will have the larger display of 6.7-inch 3200 x 1400p Samsung E4 AMOLED that has a 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.

It will get a curved display on all of its four sides 50 degrees on the left and right and 5 degrees for the top and bottom. Meizu will use the latest in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner made by Qualcomm.

As mentioned earlier, the Meizu 18 Pro is powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 SoC that has an X60 5G modem inside. There will be 2 variants, the 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and the UFS 3.1 storage will have either 128GB or 256GB.

It will also get a battery with 4,500mAh that can charge 40W via USB-C cable and 10W for reverse wireless charging.

The Meizu 18 Pro also has 4 cameras at the back. The main sensor has a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor and f/1.9 lens, 32MP f/2.2 Sony IMX616 ultrawide sensor that has a 130-degree field of view and can focus of about 2cm for a macro shot. It also has an 8MP 3x zoom camera and a 3D ToF sensor. For the selfie camera, the Pro gets a 44MP selfie sensor.

Proceeding to the Meizu 18, the smaller phone gets a 6.2 inch with the same resolution of 3200 x 1440 AMOLED screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 240hz. It will also have a quad-curve design for its front glass.

In terms of chipset, Meizu 18 will be powered with the same SoC Snapdragon 888 processor with X60 5G modem inside. The RAM and storage will offer 2 variants, the 8GB/128BB and 12GB/256GB.

The  Meizu 18 has a battery of 4000mAh that charges 36W. It won't have wireless charging capability.

At the back, it will sport a triple camera setup the 64MP f/1.6 main shooter has Sony IMX682 sensors, 16MP f/2.2 for the ultrawide shooter, and an 8Mp 3x telephoto camera for zoom but it will not have the 3D ToF sensor which the Pro has. In front, it will have a 20MP f/2.2 selfie shooter.

Meizu will ship both devices in a retail box with a single USB cable, will start a campaign where it will give power brick in exchange for two old ones.

In China, the devices are now available for pre-order. It'll go on sale from March 8. There's no info regarding its international availability yet.
