OPPO outs Reno5 Z with MediaTek Dimensity 800U chip and 48MP quad cameras!

OPPO just released the Reno5 Z in Singapore and it includes an AMOLED display, Dimensity 800U chip, 48-megapixel quad cameras, among others.

According to the source, this latest device from OPPO has several similarities with the F19 Pro+ 5G that was launched in India last month. In front, there's a 6.43-inch AMOLED punch-hole screen that gives a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 430nits brightness, and a 60Hz refresh rate.

This display also offers a 135Hz to 180Hz touch sampling rate and an in-screen fingerprint reader. OPPO claims this phone has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 percent.

Under the hood, it sports a Dimensity 800U chipset that is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of internal memory. It is equipped with a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage. Moreover, it is powered by a 4,310mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC Flash Charge technology.

As for the cameras, this OPPO smartphone has a quad-camera set-up that consists of the following: a 48MP primary camera, a 119-degree 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth assist lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There's a 16MP shooter in front for capturing selfies.

Other features of this device include a 3.5mm audio jack, WiFi, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM support.

The OPPO Reno5 Z smartphone measures 160.1 x 73.4 x 7.8 mm and weighs around 173 grams. It comes in two color options: Fluid Black and Cosmo Blue.
