In Malaysia, vivo has just introduced what could arguably be the best selfie camera on a smartphone yet. The new mid-range V21 series consists of the V21, V21 5G, and V21e. The first two are nearly identical while the V21e model has several differences including a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC.
In front of the V21 and V21 5G are a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, FHD+ resolution, 500 nits typical brightness, and HDR10+ support while the V21e features a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate with 430nits typical brightness and HDR10 support.
Inside both the V21 and V21 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 800U 7nm SoC while the V21e comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. All models come with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage with support for vivo's Extended RAM feature that adds 3GBs of RAM from the storage space.

The key feature of the V21 and V21 5G is the 44MP front-facing camera with Autofocus, OIS, EIS, 4K video recording, and two LEDs. While the vivo V21e has a 44MP selfie camera with AF and EIS but no OIS and no front-facing dual-LED flashes.
At the back of all three models is a 64MP main camera with OIS, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera with LED flash.
All three models feature a super slim design that measures either 7.2 9mm or 7.38 mm that houses a 4,000mAh battery with 33W FlashCharge via USB-C.
The vivo V21 and V21 5G will come in Sunset Dazzle, Dusk Blue, and Arctic White while vivo V21e comes in Diamond Flare and Roman Black.
Malaysia price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):
vivo V21 - MYR 1,599 (around PHP 18.9K)
vivo V21e - MYR 1,299 (around PHP 15.3K)
Both the vivo V21 and V21e are now available for pre-order in Malaysia thru Lazada and will be available for purchase on May 5, 2021. Unfortunately, the vivo V21 5G is not arriving in Malaysia so there are no pricing details yet.
