Huawei outs Band 6 Pro and a limited edition Watch GT 2 Pro ECG in China!

Huawei revealed a lot of products during its P50 series launch, including two new wearables: Watch GT 2 Pro ECG and Band 6 Pro.

New Huawei watches with significance improvements in health monitoring

Allegedly, both Watch GT 2 Pro ECG and Band 6 Pro have notable improvements from their respective predecessors. 

The Watch GT 2 Pro ECG  said to be the first watch that is classified as a class II medical device by the National Medical Products Administration of China. When it detects abnormal heart rate pattern from the users, it reminds them to take an ECG test.

A quick overview of its specs and features

Although this limited edition of this smartwatch offers electrocardiogram readings but still has the same size and features as the regular Watch GT 2 Pro. This watch is constructed with titanium and sapphire glass that is built to have 5 ATM water resistance.

This wearable also has a glossy and skin-friendly ceramic back that ensures comfort when wearing. It comes in a single black colorway only.

In front, there's a 1.39-inch AMOLED HD touchscreen at 454 x 454 resolution. It more than 100 watch faces to choose from to match your style. It runs Huawei Lite OS inside.

Moreover, it still measures Blood Oxygen Saturation as well. The Huawei TruSleep 2.0 can track and diagnose 6 common types of sleep issues while suggesting ways to improve your sleep. The watch monitors your heart rate and breathing while you sleep to rate your overall sleep quality.

Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro also has Huawei TruRelax technology to do all-day stress monitoring. It can help you do breath training to release stress and regulate your mood at the best times during the day. There's the Huawei TruSeen 4.0 that monitors your heart rate 24/7/. It alerts you when your heart rate goes above or below normal levels.

The look and design of Huawei Band 6 Pro

Meanwhile, the Band 6 Pro is made of durable polymer fiber and just weighs 18 grams. It has a NCVM coating on its metallic frame, giving it a sophisticated look. Also, features a 1.47-inch AMOLED display and the same heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep and stress tracking. 

The main difference of this fitness band from Band 6 is the body temperature monitoring. When the user's body temperature is outside the normal range, it will vibrate to alert him/her. Moreover, the Band 6 Pro provides 96 workout modes, NFC, and an intelligent voice assistant.

The limited edition Watch GT 2 Pro ECG will be sold starting August 12 while the Huawei Band 6 Pro will be available in the Chinese market on August 20, 2021. There's no word yet if the company will bring these two wearables in other countries.
