Earlier this year, MSI announced the release of their latest lineup of gaming laptops with the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU which claims to deliver the ultimate performance for gamers as well as content creators.

One of them is the GE76 Raider.

We recently got a hold of this gaming beast which is a 17.3-inch with 1920 x 1080 FHD resolution, up to 300Hz refresh rate, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU, with an Intel Core i7-10870H processor, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM, as well as 2TB of storage.

Verdict

The MSI GE76 Raider is a laptop specifically made for gamers and content creators. And MSI did a good job in keeping their promise to give the best of both worlds.

We liked the combination of the big screen with a high refresh rate and decent speakers for a completely immersive experience. In terms of design, it looks and feels premium.

Our only issue with this device is the battery life. It is better plugged in when playing to avoid interrupting your gameplay. This is a little disappointing when there are no nearby accessible wall sockets.

The performance is at its best. This laptop gave us a completely immersive gaming experience.

In terms of its GPU, did NVIDIA manage to deliver the ultimate play? Well, we can say that it did! After hours of gaming, we did not experience any lags or crashes.

Even if its Intel i7 is not exactly the latest processor, the GeForce RTX 3080 GPU outperforms it and makes this device one of the best gaming laptops we've ever tested.

The MSI GE76 Raider is available in the market for a hefty amount of PHP 209,995. Is it worth its price?

Well, for a laptop that has a 17.3-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution IPS-level panel with a 300Hz refresh rate, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU, with an Intel Core i7-10870H processor, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and 2TB of storage, the price seems reasonable. 

When compared to the specs of its competitors, some would say that this device is even cheaper.

Personally, I would rather opt for a laptop with still decent specs for a cheaper price.

But if you want a laptop for the superb gaming experience with a side for creative content, and you have a PHP 209K lying around, then this is a reliable or rather one of the best options. 

That's it for the MSI GE76 Raider. It is big, it is loud, it has HD resolution, it has a short battery life, and we had fun playing with it.
