Chipolo features:
1. Sharing - Share the Chipolo with your loved ones and help each other find it.
2. Widget - You can ring your Chipolo from your phone's home screen.
3. Community Search - The entire Chipolo community can help you look for your lost item.
4. Change Ringtone - Choose from different ringtones to set how your Chipolo rings.
5. Voice Control - Chipolo works with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Siri.
6. Selfie - Use Chipolo as a wireless shutter for your phone’s camera.
Just like the Chipolo CARD, when connected to a smartphone, double-pressing the Chipolo ONE will ring the smartphone. This means we can use the Chipolo ONE to find our phones, too! (yay!)
The Chipolo ONE is also Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri compatible. So, if the voice command is your thing, this could be a nice feature.

It also has the Out of Range alert feature. To recap, the users get a friendly notification from the Chipolo app when they leave their keys or any other item behind. The notification pops as soon as the user is getting out of range.
If the Chipolo CARD is only advertised to last for a year, the Chipolo ONE is here to stay for an extra year longer. According to the package, the Chipolo ONE battery can last up to two years.

It's also replaceable! The Chipolo ONE uses a coin-shaped battery model CR 2032 that users can find in most shops selling regular AA batteries. When the battery runs out, users can replace it themselves in a few simple steps included in the paper manual.
Of course, I tried to open the Chipolo ONE and check the battery. It's easy to open! You just need to find that little "slot" just beside the letter 'o' in the Chipolo branding.
We can't gauge yet how long the battery lasts in real life but for sure it would depend on how frequently we use the Chipolo ONE.

Perfect for your keys! |
As for its loudness, Chipolo ONE is much louder than the Chipolo CARD. The support page mentions that it uses up to 120 dB loud ringtone. It's loud that even if the Chipolo ONE is inside my closet, I can hear it "shouting" (hahaha).
The Chipolo ONE also has an extra ringtone choice called "Summer is calling" aside from the six choices the Chipolo CARD offers: Chipolo (default), Deck the Halls, Jingle Bells, Merry Christmas, Pixel dance, and Dots & Dashes.
Despite the extra ringtone, we still feel we have limited ringtone choices. We wish we could have more through an update in the future.

It also has an IPX5 standard rating making it water-resistant. The Chipolo ONE has a 60 m connection range, too. Although, we feel like this is often dropped to 15 m since there are walls, trees, and other barriers impossible not to have.
Although it can survive a few splashes, be careful not to dip the Chipolo in a pool or a lake, because if you do, then say goodbye to your Chipolo ONE.

Quick thoughts

Feature-packed LOUD tracker |
Chipolo ONE is indeed a feature-packed LOUD tracker. Each Chipolo user gets the in-app features for free. And when we say features we mean: Out of Range Alerts, unlimited share feature, selfie feature, change the ringtone, last known location displayed on the map, voice-controlled on Google Assistant, Amazone Alexa, & Siri, and phone widget available for the home screen.
We could be asking for more ringtones but losing our valuables is more of an issue than getting more ringtone choices.
Chipolo ONE is available in all Digital Walker stores and online in
Lazada and
Shopee. We believe there's more you can save if you'll get the bundle of four packages for only PHP 4,990 available in Digital Walker
LazMall and
ShopeeMall.
The Chipolo ONE Ocean Edition is available in Digital Walker's
Shopee Mall as well.
