Apple Watch Series 7 arrives with a larger, more rugged display

Aside from the new iPhone 13 series and the iPad Mini with 5G, Apple announced the Watch Series 7 during its big online event. Apparently, the new Apple Watch Series 7 sports a bit more rounded with softer, curved sides and a glass cover.
The company claims this is the first Apple Watch to have an IP6X certification for resistance to dust, and maintains a WR50 water resistance rating. It comes in five attractive new aluminum case finishes, including midnight, starlight, green, and a new blue and (PRODUCT)RED.
Apple Watch Series 7 is available in 41mm and 45mm sizes. The Cupertino giant allegedly managed to stretch the screen to the edges of the casing, thus reducing the bezels to 1.7mm. This is said to be 40 percent thinner than the Series 6 while it enables the screen to go 20 percent larger.
While the wrist is down, the Always-On Retina display is claimed up to 70 percent brighter indoors compared to Apple Watch Series 6. It features a user interface optimized for the larger display, offering greater readability and ease of use, plus two unique watch faces: Contour and Modular Duo.

Moreover, the Watch Series 7 offers 2 larger font sizes plus a new QWERTY keyboard that can be tapped or swiped with QuickPath. Because of the watchOS 8, this wearable has bigger menu titles and buttons in apps such as Stopwatch, Activity, and Alarms.
According to Apple, this smartwatch has an 18-hour battery life but they made the charging time 33 percent faster with the new USB-C fast charger. The company said that 45 minutes on the charger will take the Apple Watch Series 7 from 0 to 80 percent.
For features, the watchOS 8 features updates for cycling, workout, and fall detection. It uses advanced algorithms to analyze GPS, heart rate, accelerometer, and gyroscope data to detect when users begin a ride. It also prompts them to start an Outdoor Cycle workout if one was not initiated.
Meanwhile, the fall detection feature has been updated to recognize the unique motion and impact of falls from a bike and other workout types.
