GoPro HERO10 Black with new GP2 processor and 5.3K video recording now available in the Philippines

GoPro just released their latest HERO10 Black globally with doubled recording framerates across resolutions.

Brand new GP2 processor

New GoPro means a new processor. The HERO10 Black arrives with a more powerful GP2 processor. This is also the first upgrade to the GoPro's processor since the HERO 6 which launched over four years ago.

On paper, GoPro HERO10 Black promises improved video recording and UI performance as well as HyperSmooth 4.0 stabilization with a higher refresh rate for the front display. The new limit for the Horizon Levelling feature is now also up to 45 degrees from 27 degrees in the previous model.

New GP2 processor introduced to the new HERO10 Black

In terms of camera, the new GoPro can shoot up to 5.3K 60fps, 4K 120fps, and 2.7K 240fps videos. These supported framerates in all these resolutions have effectively doubled in comparison to its predecessor the Hero 9 Black. Users can now also grab 19.6MP still photos from video clips shot at 5.3K resolution.

GoPro HERO10 Black can also capture 23MP photos and assures a better lowlight performance. Thanks to its new processor, the new GoPro gets noise reduction and local tone mapping for videos.

Up to 5.3K video recording!

The new HERO10 Black has identical dimensions to its predecessor. It also has the features of folding mounting feet, voice control, water resistance of up to 10m. Similar to GoPro HERO9, the new action camera's lens cover is also removable and is compatible with all the mods introduced with the previous model. 

Users who have a GoPro subscription can enjoy the HERO10 Black feature of automatically uploading their content to the cloud. TimeWarp 3.0, HindSight, Scheduled Capture, and Live Burst are also present.
