Coming from the DEVA with a Brown/Beige color, the DEVA Pro arrived in a sleeker black colorway.

As expected, it uses planar magnetic drivers with Hifiman's own Stealth Magnets Design that enables waves to pass through the magnets without generating interference. It is also said to be acoustically transparent and dramatically reduces wave diffraction turbulence that degrades the integrity of the sound waves. This reduced distortion can provide an accurate and full range sonic output.

It also has the new NEO "supernano" Diaphragm (NsD) that is 80 percent thinner than the previous design for a faster response, detailed image, and lush/full-range sonics.

The headphones have a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz, 18 ohms impedance, and a sensitivity of 93.5dB.

Hifiman also added 2x 3.5mm slots that can accommodate both dual-sided unbalanced 3.5mm cable and a single-sided 3.5mm balanced cable.

Moreover, it has support for the updated Bluemini R2R Bluetooth receiver, USB module, and DAC in one.

This still has support for LDAC, Qualcomm aptX HD, aptX, AAC, and SBC audio codec.

It uses the Himalaya R2R Architecture DAC which is ultra-small with low-energy consumption and high sampling rates.

It also comes with Bluetooth 5.0 tech, Qualcomm QCC5124 Bluetooth chipset, up to 8 hours battery life, and a net weight of 25 grams.

The headphones weigh 360 grams.

International price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

Hifiman DEVA Pro - USD 329 (around PHP 16.7K)

The device is currently listed at USD 239 on the Hifiman website. There is no info on when will it land on our local shores.

Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be available at the stores that carried the DEVA that I purchased last year like Egghead Audiohub.
