Nokia G50 is the company's newest affordable 5G phone with a 48MP main cam

Ahead of its scheduled October 6 event, Nokia introduced the G50.

Affordable Nokia 5G phone!

Nokia G50 is the company's newest affordable smartphone featuring a curved back cover with a circular camera design, large display, 5G connectivity, and capable-looking cameras.

The design of the phone

In particular, the device is equipped with a 6.82-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution, 70 percent NTSC coverage, and 450 nits brightness.

Inside, the phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G Mobile Platform is an 8nm-based  chipset with up to 2.0GHz clock speed, Adreno 619 GPU, and an integrated Snapdragon X51 5G Modem-RF system with support for mmWave and sub-6GHz global 5G.

The chip is paired with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB expandable storage up to 512GB via microSD card slot.

For battery, it goes with a 4,470mAh capacity with a USB-C 18W fast-charging technology.

At the back, it goes with a 48MP main shooter assisted by a 5MP ultra-wide-angle snapper and a 2MP depth helper.

The device also has a fingerprint scanner/power key, dedicated Google Assistant key, WiFi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, GPS, Galileo, and BeiDou.

It goes with Android 11 OS out of the box. Normally, G series Nokia smartphones have at least 2 years of major OS updates and 3 years of monthly security patches.
