Report claims that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE launch has been cancelled!

DDaily Korea reports that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE launch event that was expected in mid-October 2021 to have been cancelled!

Samsung was expected to launch the successor to the popular Galaxy S20 FE alongside the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and the Z Fold3 5G. This did not happen and was reportedly postponed for a separate mid-October Unpacked event.

Seoul based publication DDaily reports that a Samsung representative has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will not arrive at all as the Korean Giant has allegedly cancelled the smartphone because of the ongoing chip shortage and because of the impressive Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G sales.

The uncertain chip supply has made Samsung make a tough decision of either cutting the value-for-money leader of the Galaxy S21 lineup or the new compact foldable.

GizmoChina says that the cancellation of the Galaxy S21 FE could only be applicable in South Korea because a previous report from South Korean Publication FN News claimed that Galaxy S21 FE will be released in limited markets and will not be released in South Korea and Japan.
