Users have access to 24/7 teleconsults to medical professionals

KonsultaMD is 917Ventures' way to address pain points in PH healthcare, especially during the pandemic. These issues include lack of professionals, inadequate health infrastructure, limited accessibility, and, most of all, the high cost of medical consultation.

Less than two years into the global health crisis, medical consultations made through the KonsultaMD app increased to 1,549 percent compared to its pre-pandemic numbers. The service has already reached over 1 million members who enjoy 24/7 unlimited access to licensed doctors via voice or video call for as low as PHP 60 per month.

With this development, 917Ventures expects that the users will continue their patronage even after the pandemic crisis has died down. Even when the COVID-19 cases lessened earlier this year, KonsultaMD users continued on utilizing teleconsults.

Aside from being safe and affordable, teleconsults also encourages early diagnosis while diseases are in their early stages and can be easily cured or treated. Likewise, KonsultaMD provides digital management of health consultation records and issuance of medical documents such as e-prescriptions, e-laboratory requests, e-referrals, and e-medical certificates.
