The Method Research: Globe is the favorite telco brand in the Philippines (October 2021)

According to a recent study by an international market research firm, Globe Telecom emerged as the country's favorite telco brand.

Globe is PH favorite telco brand - The Method Research

The October survey of The Method Research (Pulse Poll Philippines) showed that 39.1 percent of the respondents picked Globe as their favorite telco brand in the country. It is 3 points higher than the 36.1 percent that the company registered in August 2021. The rating suggests that nearly 4 out of 10 Filipinos preferred Globe.

Globe also increased its lead over Smart. From 22.5 percent, Smart is down to 17.3 percent. PLDT recorded 15 percent. TNT has 13.5 percent. TM has 9.8 percent. Third telco DITO is the lowest with 5.3 percent.

In Luzon, Globe is also the favorite telco with 42.2 percent. In VisMin, Globe achieved 34.1 percent and 38.6 percent, respectively.

According to Globe, these results support the company's efforts to provide a much-improved experience to its customers.

The study by The Method Research aims to gather general insights into the local population’s behavior, consumption, and preferences of respondents living in the Philippines over 17 years old. The sample of respondents taken per island is also representative of the nation's population.

It revealed that the majority of the respondents or 78.2 percent belong to the 18-24 age bracket. 72 percent are female and 28 percent are male. Most are from Luzon with 52.85 percent, followed by the Visayas with 29.63 percent and Mindanao with 17.52 percent.
