vivo has just launched the new Y54s with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging in China!

A new Y series!

BBK subsidiary vivo has launched the new Y54s in China. The new smartphone features a large 6.51-inch IPS LCD with a waterdrop notch, FHD+ display, and 20:9 aspect ratio. Around the panel are slim panels that help attain an 89 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, 6GB RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging via USB-C. The phone also gets an extra 2GB of virtual RAM. At the back are the dual 13MP f/2.2 main camera and the 2MP depth sensor.

The stock camera app features portrait mode, Night mode, time-lapse, slow-motion, and other modes.

Under the hood is Android 11-based OriginOS 1.0.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, LTE, 5G, and Bluetooth 5.1.

Lastly, the phone will come in either Titanium Gray or Lake Blue colorways

In China, the phone is currently not available for purchase. There is no word yet when it will be available.
