Apple iPhone production to stop for several days

Apple feels supply chain limitations, halts iPhone production

Does this mean fewer stocks available in the market?
Does this mean fewer stocks available in the market?

This is the first time Apple appeared to be affected by supply chain constraints since the start of the pandemic in 2020. This will allegedly take place for several days according to multiple sources with knowledge of the situation.

This is a surprising move for Apple since this is the time when its production lines go into overdrive to meet the demand of the holiday season. However, this year its workers will be getting unexpected rest days.

According to Nikkei's source, it made little sense to send workers to work overtime on holidays due to the limited components and chips available.

Delays are caused by a variety of factors, including Malaysian and Vietnamese lockdowns, unanticipated power constraints in China, shortages, production bottlenecks, and longer component lead times, among others.

What do you guys think?
