CES 2022: MSI outs Intel 12th Gen powered laptops for gamers and creators!

Taiwanese PC powerhouse MSI yesterday released its newest lineup of devices this year at the CES 2022 show.

Meta-ready Intel 12th Gen gaming devices and more!

The company highlights that these are "meta-ready" laptops for gamers and creators powered by Intel's newest 12th Gen processors as well as PCs, graphics cards, and several peripherals.

For its laptops, MSI introduced the new Phase-Change Liquid Metal Pad technology that uses materials like Indium, Bismuth, and Tin to achieve up to 5x heat conductivity versus traditional thermal pastes.

Basically, this melts CPU heats up and solidifies when temperatures are low. It also solves the problem of aging, leaking, and regular maintenance.

According to the company, this tech can help improve the CPU performance of laptops by up to 10 percent.

Anyway, here's the list of MSI's new devices this 2022.
GS77

MSI Stealth GS77/66GS77 is a slim and compact gaming laptop designed to fit nicely even in your workplace with a 17-inch up to 4K resolution screen and up to 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU + 16GB GDDR6 VRAM.

It also has up to 32GB DDR5 RAM (upgradable to 64GB), 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD, and a massive 99.9WHr battery, the largest in its class.

MSI is also boasting that it has an RGB keyboard with 8 percent larger keycaps, 50 percent bigger glass trackpad, physical camera lock, 6x speakers, surround sound headphones experience, WiFi 6E, and plenty of ergonomically placed ports. GS66 is its 15.6-inch version.

MSI Raider GE76/66 - The new 2022 version of the MSI Raider are boasting a 15.6-inch or 17-inch panel with up to 360Hz at FHD or 4K. There is also a more affordable 17-inch model with a 144Hz FHD display.

Inside, both have up to 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU + 16GB GDDR6 VRAM, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD.

It also has a string of RGB lighting in the front and an RGB keyboard. Of course, these laptops come with plenty of ports from Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, USB-A, and more.

MSI Crosshair 15 and 17For FPS gamers, the company introduced the 2022 Crosshair 15 and Rainbow six: Extract edition.

Crosshair 15 also is also an impressive offering boasting up to 360Hz refresh rate at 1080p, up to 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU, up to 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD.

There is also an MSI Crosshair 15 Rainbow Six Extraction edition with Ubisoft Rainbow Six Extraction theme with gradient color palette and transparent WASD keys.

The Crosshair 17 has up to Core i7-12700H, GeForce RTX 3070, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 512GB SSD.

MSI Vector GP76/GP66 - The new Vector series features a 360Hz FHD panel or a 240Hz QHD panel, up to an Intel Core i9-12900HK for the GP76, up to Core i9-12900H for GP66, and up to  NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. It uses the MSI Cooler Boost 5 design with two fans and six heat pipes instead of phase-changing cooling.

It also has a 1x USB-C, 3x USB-C ports, HDMI 2.1, mini DisplayPort 1.4, 2.5Gbps Ethernet, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

MSI Pulse GL76/66 - For budget users, there is also a refresh Pulse 2022 edition. The devices come with a 360Hz refresh rate or up to 360Hz for the GL76. Inside, these are powered by up to Core i7-12700H processor up to 4.7GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, up to 16GB DDR4 upgradable RAM, up to 1TB SSD storage, and a 720p webcam.

MSI Katana GF76 and GF66 - The 2022 models of the Katana laptops are the most affordable gaming laptops of MSI. It features a 144Hz refresh rate with an FHD panel, up to Intel Core i7-12700H processor, GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics, to 32GB DDR4 RAM, up to 1TB SSD storage, USB-C port, 3x USB-A ports, HDMI 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, and a headphone jack.

MSI Creator Z17/Z16P - Creator Z17 is a creator-focused laptop featuring a beautifully crafted metal body with curved edges, a 17-inch True Pixel display with 165Hz refresh rate, 2K+ 2560 x 1600 resolution with a taller 16:10 aspect ratio, 100 percent DCI-P3 accurate color reproduction, and support for pen touch.

Inside, it is powered by up to 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU + 16GB GDDR6 VRAM.

Moreover, it has up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and a 2TB SSD.

There is also an MSI Creator  Z16P with the same chip, GPU, and memory configuration.

This even has a new vapor cooling system with 76 percent more airflow and 65 percent more performance.

The two laptops include a 1080p webcam with Windows Hello support.

MSI Creator M16 - For creators on a budget, the company introduced Creator M16. It features a 16-inch QHD+ display with 100 percent DCI-P3 at a 60Hz refresh rate, Intel Core i7-12650H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, 720p webcam, and a backlit keyboard.
