Despite the many challenges 2021 brought, technology has made it a wee bit easier to live in the time of a pandemic. OPPO is one of the tech companies that made it their mission to do just that.
From phones to car technologies. Here's how OPPO is reshaping the tech landscape:

In the past year, we have witnessed new devices and technologies month after month from the tech giant. From "rollable phones" to AI-powered smartphone cameras to smart in-car connectivity, OPPO has got them all.

Here's a quick look at the highlights from the brand in 2021:

OPPO Reno6 series - OPPO has taken the core selling point of the Reno series and amplified it 3x. The 5G-enabled Reno6, the newest in the brand’s photography-centric line of phones, now comes with a 64MP triple rear camera setup with a matching 32MP selfie camera. But they didn’t stop there. The phone’s photo and video-taking capabilities are boosted by AI. Customers get to enjoy features such as AI Bokeh Flare Portrait, AI Portrait Beautification, and more. It’s dubbed the AI Portrait Expert for a reason.

OPPO X 2021 - Nothing screams futuristic better than a rollable phone. The OPPO X 2021 is the brand’s bold take on flexible display and structural stacking technology. The concept phone is built upon a continuously variable OLED display, which allows a smooth transition from a smaller to a bigger display. It has a scroll-like concept wherein customers can easily extend the phone screen from 6.7 inches to up to 7.4 inches by sliding the frame, vice versa.

The OPPO Find X3 Pro - OPPO went X-tra on the features of their flagship phone, the Find X3 Pro. It is advertised as the world’s first full-path billion color smartphone. The phone’s dual Billion Color cameras capture more color (a billion at that) which translates to images, as the brand claims, on par with that of a DLSRs. The visual experience is completed with a 6.7-inch display that comes with OPPO’s full-path 10-bit Color Management System.

OPPO Find N - According to the company, when folded, it is like a compact smartphone with a 5.49-inch screen that you can easily use even with a one-hand operation. When opened, you will be greeted with a larger 7.1-inch display for your multimedia consumption and multitasking with a landscape aspect ratio.

The impressive thing about this display is it has less crease compared to most inward folding smartphones of 2021.

OPPO and TÜV Rheinland are claiming that it has an 80 percent less noticeable crease than other devices.

The company made this possible by using its self-developed Flexion Hinge with 136 components with a precision of 0.1mm for a gapless design when folded and the LTPO AMOLED screen with a layer of Flexion ultra-thin glass that is just 0.03 mm.

OPPO claims that this design can easily bend while still providing good durability and have a gapless design that makes the device thinner when folded and provides better protection on the display from scratches.

MagVOOC Flash Charging series - The MagVOOC series features the brand’s new collection of wireless charging and magnetic flash charging devices. The MagVOOC tagged devices are claimed to be able to fully charge a 4,000mAh device in under an hour, 56 minutes to be exact. The devices include the MagVOOC Wireless Power Bank, the MagVOOC Ultra-Thin Flash Charger, and the MagVOOC Wireless Flash Charging Stand.

In-Car Connectivity - Further expanding the OPPO ecosystem, the brand has also rolled out new smart in-car technologies for Bluetooth enabled vehicles. Their digital car key allows a car to be unlocked through an OPPO smartphone by way of Bluetooth. Other smart management features come built with the OPPO Find X3 and OPPO Watch 2. Through the devices, users are able to control the AC remotely as well as locate their car from a distance. In-car flash charging is also included as expected of the brand.
