The OPPO Air Glass is an assisted reality smart glass that is designed to work with a special Cicada Wing Design and uses a self-developed Spark Micro Projector. This projector shows overlays for different types of data in front of your eyes. Like a HUD in videos games.

It features the Snapdragon Wear 4100 platform processor in its core. The Spark Micro Projector shines information via the five-element glass lenses using micro-LED technology. The Spark Micro Projector is a small as a coffee bean which makes it one of the smallest projectors in the industry.

The OPPO Air Glass has a custom-made optical diffraction waveguide with two display modes: a 16-level grayscale and a 256-level grayscale with up to 1400 nits of average brightness, ensuring that information is visible in a variety of lighting settings.

When coupled with an OPPO Watch 2, the device can be operated by touch, voice, or hand motion, as well as head movements. For instance, you can open and close notifications by nodding or shaking your head. Weather, Calendar, Health, Navigation, and Teleprompter are just a few of the apps available on the smart glass, allowing users to give a presentation practically anywhere.

Air Glass also features a built-in translation feature that allows two people to speak across cultures using the gadget. Right out of the box, a two-way translation between Mandarin Chinese and English will be available. Mandarin Chinese, as well as Japanese and Korean, will be added later.

The OPPO Air Glass is set to launch in China by Q1 2022. It will be available in Black or White with two custom frame accessories.
