1. A new folding smartphone - The Huawei P50 Pocket features a clamshell, folding design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Flip3. It features a plastic body with a glossy finish. The cover and inner screens are made of glass though. It has two circular cutouts at the back with one housing a secondary circular screen and the other housing the cameras. Folded it is a small pocketable device while opened it is a typical sized device.

Folding screen + secondary screen on the cover - For the main screen, it has a 6.9-inch OLED screen w/ 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, FHD+ 2790 x 1188 resolution at 439 ppi pixel density. The secondary display is a 1.04-inch OLED w/ 120Hz touch sampling rate, 360 x 360 resolution at 490 ppi pixel density.

The secondary screen has functions such as music control, camera viewfinder, weather, and notification. It also has Always-On and double-tap to wake functions.

3. Great performance - The Huawei P50 Pocket features the 2.84GHz 5nm Snapdragon 888 4G octa-core processor, Adreno 660 GPU, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage. These specs sheet is flagship-level with 5G the only thing lacking due to US restrictions. It also has WiFi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2 BLE, and runs EMUI 12.
