Grab, other players have a new competitor
Earlier today, JoyRide Superapp posted on its official Facebook page, where it hinted that it will soon launch its new service.
In a report of CNN Philippines, JoyRide confirmed that it secured a certificate of accreditation from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
We are grateful that JoyRide Car is now one of the accredited four-wheel Transport Network Companies in the Philippines. We view this as a good development as commuters will now have another viable choice for safe, comfortable, and affordable car rides to their destination, said JoyRide senior vice president for corporate affairs Noli Eala.
The company is also urging potential partner drivers, offering passenger services: JoyRide MC Taxi and JoyRide Car.
The market has now four players catering to commuters, including Grab, Owto, and Hirna.
JoyRide's certificate comes as the National Capital Region and 38 other areas ease to Alert Level 1 starting March 1 to 15.
