The vivo sub-brand iQOO has launched a new affordable smartphone called the U5x which comes with a 6nm chipset and HD+ screen.

iQOO has a new budget smartphone!

The U5x uses a waterdrop display design at the front, flipping it back you'll see the three-dimensional grid pattern on its cover to give the phone a more delicate feel. It comes in Polar Day Blue and Starlight Black colorways.

Its screen has a 6.51-inch LCD panel with 720p+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

At the helm, it has a 6nm Snapdragon 680 4G octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU. It is paired with 4GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage.

Its battery has a 5,000mAh capacity and can be charged using a micro USB and 10W adaptor.

Moving to the camera department, it uses 13MP as the main and an additional 2MP macro camera. As for the selfie shooter, the handset has 8MP.

Other features are a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security purposes. It also has Multi-Turbo 5.5 which will improve the gaming performance of the device.

For connectivity, it has dual-band WiFi, 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Meanwhile, the software side has Android 11 with OriginOS Ocean skin on top.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

iQOO U5x 4GB/128GB - CNY 899 (around PHP 7.3K)
iQOO U5x 8GB/128GB - CNY 1,099 (around PHP 8.9K)
