Smart wins 11 out of 16 awards in the latest Opensignal report

With data collected from January 1 to March 31, the Opensignal Mobile Network Experience Report suggested that Smart is the operator to beat in the Philippines. Smart won 11 out of a possible 16 awards in the latest Opensignal report covering the first quarter of 2022.

The 5G Availability and 5G Reach awards went to Smart. Its 5G users spent the most time connecting to 5G and located a 5G signal in the most places. Smart has the highest 5G Availability score of 14.7 percent, which is 5.8 percentage points more than Globe's 8.8 percent. In 5G Reach, Smart's margin is narrower, as it wins with 4.4 points, while Globe comes in second with 3.5 points.

Smart has won all four awards for Opensignal's user experiences with multiplayer mobile gaming and voice applications over cellular networks. Smart's margin of victory is outstanding in both Games Experience and 5G Games Experience – its 54-point score is 12.9 points or 31.5 percent greater than DITO's at 2nd place. Smart wins the 5G Games Experience with a score of 68.1 points, which is 11.3 points ahead of Globe's 56.8 points.
