HONOR Pad 8 with 12-inch 2K screen, SD680 now official

HONOR Pad 8 has been announced in China featuring a 12-inch 2K display, Snapdragon 680, and a thin metal body.

HONOR Pad 8 features a slim metal body with a measurement of 278.54 x 174.06 x 6.9 mm. It also has an elliptical camera bump at the back. In terms of the screen, the slim bezels surround the 12-inch LCD screen with 2000 x 1200 2K resolution, 350 nits brightness, and TUV Rheinland hardware-level low blue light certification.

Inside, it has the 6nm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor, Adreno 610 GPU, up to 8GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, and a 7,250mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. It also has a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

Other features include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 8x speakers, HONOR Histen sound, DTS:X ultra, and Android 12 with Magic UI 6.1 on top. A keyboard dock will also be sold by HONOR as well.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

HONOR Pad 8 4GB/128GB - CNY 1,499 (around PHP 12.5K)

HONOR Pad 6GB/128GB - CNY 1,799 (around PHP 15K)

HONOR Pad 8GB/128GB - CNY 1,999 (around PHP 16.6K)

HONOR keyboard dock - CNY 279 (around PHP 2.3K)

It is now available for pre-order in China. It will hit stores starting July 29. Local price and availability are yet to be confirmed though. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
