Some of the cool and useful features in ColorOS 13

With the introduction of ColorOS 13, OPPO is kicking things off with a new Aquamorphic Design. that offers a vibrant and fluid user interface.

According to the mobile brand, the design entails a new system theme palette based on the changing color of light between sunrise and sunset at sea level. It also includes an updated font with improved readability and a card-style layout that displays information in a clear and visually-friendly order.

Aside from the updated design, the ColorOS 13 also got significant changes to the notification pane, widgets, and privacy-focused features.

The Smart Always-On Display (AOD) functionality in ColorOS 13 is improved. The feature now allows users to control apps and check additional information without unlocking the screen. It also offers native Spotify integration and new wallpapers.

The new "Multi-Screen Connect" screen-mirroring feature lets up to three windows from a phone be displayed on a connected Windows PC. The set-up includes two background apps alongside one direct mirror of a smartphone's display. OPPO claimed that it also lessens the complication of file transfer between a smartphone and Windows.

Aside from that, the new OS from OPPO highlights a new Shadow-Reflective Clock widget that accurately shows the flow of time, new inclusive illustrations, a dedicated IoT device control module, and media playback controls in the updated Control Center.
