Which TECNO CAMON 19 series is for you?

The lineup consists of four smartphones: the TECNO CAMON 19, TECNO CAMON 19 Pro, 19 Pro Mondrian Edition, and 19 Pro 5G.

If you are looking for a phone but the budget is limited, you might want to check on the standard version which is the CAMON 19. 

Priced at PHP 10,290, this handset packs a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display, 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W USB fast charging. 

The vanilla version features

It also carries the brand's pride and glory camera technology which is the 64MP f/1.7 Super Night RGBW sensor primary camera, a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor, and an AI Lens with an LED flash, as well as a 16MP f/2.0 front-facing camera.

The 19 Pro 4G features

With a price tag starting at PHP 13,490, you will be getting a smoother viewing experience with the 6.78-inch 120Hz FHD+ IPS LCD, more punch with the 12nm Helio G96 4G processor, 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage. Although it still has the same 5000mAh battery the charging speed is improved to a 33W adapter together with USB-C. The Pro version also has 64MP F/1.6 1G+5P Super Night, RGBW main sensor + 50MP f/1.98 50mm 6P portrait, 2x optical zoom sensor + 2MP f/2.4 depth helper.

If that hardware somehow is good enough for you but you find its design not in line with your taste, don't worry as TECNO also created a limited edition called the CAMON 19 Pro Mondrian. However, you will be paying a little bit more with PHP 14,920.

The Limited Edition design

It is exactly the 4G variant but strikes with a minimalist elegant design. TECNO says it is mainly inspired by the Dutch artist called "Piet Mondrian". If you take a look at it, the smartphone got a distinctive mosaic-like art made out of a White body and Black patterns. However, it doesn't stop there as the brand says the rear case can change its color whenever light reflects on it.

Finally, TECNO CAMON 19 Pro also has a 5G version which costs higher at PHP 15,490. The brand did this for those who prefer a faster data connection on their device.

Uses different chip

Not much has changed in it from the 4G and Mondrian version except the 6nm 2.4GHz MediaTek Dimensity 810 octa-core processor which is obviously a 5G chipset.

Another change would be the two camera helpers which are toned down to 2MP on both depth and macro. The primary sensor remains the same as the others. Lastly, the selfie shooter is downgraded to 16MP f/2.0
