During the Genshin Impact 3.1 Livestream, Mihoyo announces its long-term project with Ufotable to make an animated series of the game.
The announcement is also accompanied by a trailer concept that shows the vast world of Teyvat such as the forest, and big trees including the icy Dragonspine Mountain. The clip also displays the twin protagonist—Aether and Lumine holding hands together and even the tiny fairy "Paimon" while the game's music theme is being played at a slow pace.
The video also showed smooth animations of the open world and even the waterfalls which will remind you of Ufotable's work.
After all, the studio is widely recognized in Japan as a top-tier anime maker. As an example, Ufotable is popular for animating the Demon Slayer series and even had a movie that was dubbed as Japan's highest-grossing film up to date, as per The Japan Times.
Reading the comment sections in the live stream, the fans/players have expressed excitement about the collaboration between the two studios. Many fans expect that they will see another top-tier work with a rich story to come.
