HONOR Magic4 Pro goes up against with Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
|
HONOR Magic4 Pro design |
Build/Design - The HONOR Magic4 Pro features a glass-sandwich curved body with a big circular camera hump at the back. The screen features curved edges and a pill punch-hole cutout. It also comes with IP68 water and dust resistance. |
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra back design w/ S Pen |
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra features a body made out of Armor Aluminum with a glass back and front panel. It has more of a rectangular and flat shape compared to HONOR's curved design language. It comes with a punch-hole cutout, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, and IP68 water and dust resistance.
Both devices are pretty. But with no mention of any kind of glass protection, HONOR takes a bit of a hit here. |
HONOR Magic4 Pro OLED screen |
Display - The HONOR Magic4 Pro features a 6.81-inch Quad-Curved LTPO OLED screen w/ 120Hz refresh rate, 1920Hz PWM dimming, MEMC, HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced, 2848 x 1312 resolution at 460 ppi. |

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra features a bigger main sensor at 108MP and has more sensors with 4 in total. But, looking at HONOR Magic4 Pro's camera system it may have a 50MP main sensor but it also has a 50MP ultra-wide and a 64MP Periscope Camera.
In the selfie department, Samsung wins with a 40MP sensor.
So in conclusion, both have great camera systems. But, HONOR's approach appears to be more balanced. But, HONOR's approach appears to be more well-rounded.
