A few hours after announcing that the Mate 50 Pro is now available in Philippine stores, tech titan HUAWEI yesterday revealed the KOL for the product and its postpaid promos.

The company tapped popular Filipino heartthrob, actor, singer, athlete, and pilot Ian Veneracion to further promote the capabilities of the company's 10th-year anniversary Mate—the HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro.

During the event, the company shared that the new handset is boasting the Kunlun Glass technology which is 10x tougher than regular glass, Ultra Aperture XMAGE Camera boasting the very-first 10-scale adjustable physical aperture, EMUI 13 skin with HarmonyOS features like SuperStorage, which stacks duplicate files and compresses rarely used apps to free up to 20GB of storage, Emergency Mode, which provides users with around 3 hours of standby time when the battery level drops to 1 percent, and its security features.

Moreover, HUAWEI revealed its partnership with local telco giant Globe Telecom.

At Globe Postpaid, the regular version of the HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro with 8GB RAM and 256GB is FREE at GPLAN 2499. To keep it simple, those who will get the device at Globe do not need to shell out PHP 22,800 for the cashout anymore.

Meanwhile, the higher-end HUAWEI Mate 50 Pro with Vegan Leather, Kunlun Glass, and 512GB storage will get 50 percent off for its cash out. So at GPLAN 2499, those who will buy the Vegan Leather Mate 50 Pro only need to pay a PHP 16,800 cashout fee from PHP 33,600.

HUAWEI and Globe shared that this promo will be available starting today November 25 until December 31, 2022.
